Our new house in Dallas Texas

Robert and I had this house build from the ground up. The house is almost done. It is 3665 sq feet. Has four bedrooms, 3 and half bathroom, game room, media room family room breakfast room. Also has a three car garage. Sits on a corner lot. Has in ground water system. Should be moving in some time the beginning of June. House sold in Louisville in 16 days after we changed to another Realtor. We will be going back to Kentucky to have that house packed.

On my way to work, this TREE fell in front of my car. It is held up by power lines. I had to take yet another detour to get in to work. By the way, the job was closed, I just wanted to go in to do some work. What a crazy idea. Check out the rest of the picture. This is Winter 2009.

This is another detour I had to take, took like a hour to get into work, oh, by the way when I did get to work, I could not get into the school parking lot. The snow plows had piled snow so high I could not get my car in there.

Louiville had this all over town. This strange message, then you start to see monkeys all over the place. It was cool to see it. So, I guess this place is not AS bad as I am thinking. Once you start to go and look around it seems to improve. You know what they say... ALL work and no place, makes Jack a DULL boy...

Yes every body, I am updating the blog. I am so sorry that I have not kept this up. Well first off, I went to Portland Oregon back in July for my VA conference. I wanted to see if Sandy and Katie could come over, but I knew if that happened I would have never been at the conference. I wanted so much to go see Katie's new place and go shopping. Maybe next time I will be able to come to Tacoma...

Winter Blast March 8th 2008

Welcome to Kentucky. This is our SECOND major snow storm in a month. We had about 14 inches fall in less then 24 hours. The weather man was saying we were having what is called "THUNDER SNOW". It means, we had lightning shot across the sky, but instead of hard rain..... We got SNOW. Lots, and LOTS, of snow per hour. The snow started falling yesterday afternoon, March 7th. At first it was just not cold enough for it to stick, but it kept right on coming. Soon, it was falling so fast that the snow that was trying to melt, was hit with more snow, so there you have it.
