Good Neighbor passed away

Many of you may have heard the story about a neighbor of mine in Tacoma that lived across the street from Robert and I. The story goes, one day, about 8 years ago I was out side cutting my yard. I had just finished the front and was all done with the back yard, when I saw THE CREATURE. It was just laying on the side of my house. It looked like a big fat, wet, RAT... But it was a possum. I started yelling for HELP. Art the neighbor from across the street came over to see what I was yelling about. Then he saw IT. He said "Don't move, that there is a POSSUM, they like to play dead, it may attack." So there I was, with rake in hand, ready to fight off the CREATURE. Art ran back to his house, when he came back, he had on this huge glove. You know like you see on the Discovery Channel, when they handle big birds. Well any way, Art goes real slow, then he reaches for the possum, just as he is about to touch it, he screams out REAL LOUD, RUN....BOY... did I every, I took off down the street just screaming. I threw the rake at Art and just ran.
The possum was in deed DEAD. Art was just messing with me. That's my memory of Art, he loved to kid around.
On Dec 17th, Art passed away, his obituary was in the Tacoma News Tribune.
