UPDATE.....UPDATE.....
This is a update for our SUNDAY RIDE. I just received a e-mail from Dave, one of our regular riders. He just told me about a ride on Sunday the 14. This Ride is sponsored by the "Capital Bicycling Club". This ride has loops of 20, 30,50,80 and 100 miles along scenic, low traffic areas in Thurston County and Northern Lewis County. All the ride loops are well marked, mostly along scenic areas. They have commercial food stops and numerous rest room areas. I was thinking how do you all feel about doing this on Sunday??? Now it will cost us. The cost is 18 dollars and we start the ride at Parkside Elementary School in Tenino. Registration opens at 7a.m.
Now if this sounds good, lets go for it. Dave is doing the 100 mile loop. I will most likely do this route as well. Let me know under the comments.
If you want to check out there web site go to www.capitalbicycleclub.org./ Then Click on the CBC events button on the left. Then go to "Trybyr (Tenino-Rainer-Bucoca Rally for Aug. 14th, 2005"

The easiest way to get to Tenino:
Take I-5 South to exit 101/Tumwater Blvd. Turn Left/East on Tumwater Blvd. and go to the light at Old Highway 99 (intersection at the Olympia Airport which you will see on your Right as you approach the light.) Turn Right/South on Old Hwy. 99. The next town you come to is Tenino. You will intersect Route 507 (that you may recognize from the STP). Turn Right/West on 507 into the center of town. Go two or three blocks and turn Left/South to Central Avenue and Parkside Elementary School.
