Hello everybody and HAPPY 4th of July. Well Ray, Diane, Chris and myself did a 50 mile bike ride out of Roy Y on the 3rd. We have been wanting to do longer rides so we could get a little extra miles under our belt for the STP (Seattle to Portland) ride. We meet at "Old Town Bicycle" at 8am. Then we car pooled over to the Roy y in the Spanaway area. The ride was so much fun. Ray and Chris took off ahead of us and Diane and myself ran our mouths. Along the way we came upon a area where there was a lake. People were out there swimming and water skiing. After passing this area we meet up with Ray and Chris and out of the blue I could hear "Something" running through the woods on our right. Out of no where too BIG DOGS came crashing through the woods. They looked like they were the dogs from that movie "CUJO", or at least there off springs. Well any way every body did there own thing. Ray and Diane hit the breaks, Chris and myself took off like the hounds of hell were after us. No one was attacked by these monster from hell, but it did get our blood going. I must of screamed like a school girl because when I passed Chris he was still laughing.
Well any way the ride over all was a lot of fun. The weather was beautiful and
everybody had a great time. Well NEXT week is the "Seattle to Portland Ride". So I won't be having a Sunday ride, since the STP last two days, Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th. Also the following week the 17th of July I will not be able to do the ride, I will be in Las Vegas for a job conference. Poor me. A whole week in Sin City. What is a cycles going to do. Well what happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas.
