I'm BACK......From Las Vegas

Hello everybody, I'm back. First off, I will not be riding on Sunday the 24th of July. I am so tired from all week in Vegas. On Sunday the 17th it was 123 degrees and at night it never went below 100. I stayed at the "New Orleans hotel & Casino". I went to Las Vegas for a VA Conference. This place is so HOT. The first day it was 123 degrees outside. At night it NEVER got below 100. It felt like someone opened up a oven door and put a fan inside of it and forced you to stand in front of it. I was so glad to get home. Over all the time in Vegas was fun. There is so much to see and do. You can only go out at night because you would just DIE in the day time. One night a friend of mine named Lane talked me into walking back to our hotel. That turned out to be a 3 mile walk. If it was not for all the bike riding that I do I would of passed out on the side of the road. He took his shirt off and put it around his head. I said where the hell am I, am I in HELL. Because it sure did feel like it.
One night we all went to a place called "Harrah's". They had this bar set up outside with these guys throwing bottles in the air and mixing drinks and blowing whistles like they were crazy. We were at this place until 4:30 am. Then we went back to our hotel and did 2 games of bowling. At 6am I went to bed, only to be awaken at 9am to get ready for another meeting. I think I am still trying to get over that ONE night. Well any way enjoy the blog. There are some picture I think you all will enjoy.
See ya on the road, one day.

This is my group called "WAVES". Which stands for "Western Association of Veterans Education specialist." We do a lot of stuff for vets at our schools. This was the reason that I went to las Vegas in the first place. We did a lot of training and answering questions for new VA Certifying officials. We had a blast. And we got to wear these cool shirts.  Posted by Picasa

This is part of the Venetian Hotel-Casino. This place is wonderful. You can take these "Gondola rides " that go inside the Hotel and the guys will Serenad you as you past by shops and people looking at you like you were nuts. Posted by Picasa

This is Bellagio. This will be the next hotel I stay at when I go to Las Vegas. Bellagio is the most lavish resort in Las Vegas. It is a Stunning replica of an Italian Villa that boasted an equally stunning price tag of 1.6 BILLION DOLLARS to build. This place will cost you 230 to 250 bucks a night. But you do get a free water show every night!!!!!!!! Posted by Picasa

This is the MIRAGE. Every night they have this show that stops traffic. The Mirage's erupting volcano, and the fountains of Bellagio draws crowds from every where. Posted by Picasa

This is inside of Treasure Island. I wanted to go see mama mia, but it was sold out. So I went to see Mystere. But it was not playing until Thursday night and I did not want to go on Thursday because I had to get up so early to catch that plane. So I did'nt get to go to any shows. Maybe next time. Posted by Picasa

This is me and Michale Jordon. Yes if you can believe that you can believe I won a million bucks. This is just his wax replica of Michale Jordon. I took a picture of Elton John but I must of deleted it. Who knows. Posted by Picasa

This is TREASURE ISLAND. They have a daily Pirate battle in front of the casino. If you look close you can see part of the pirate ship. I never did go to a show. It was just too hot to stand out there and watch. I would of jumped into the water myself just to cool off. Posted by Picasa
