Paint Job on Front Door.

Robert and I had this storm door put on, but the guy had to build a frame around it. So Robert went to LOWES and got me some paint. I wanted to paint the frame to match the new Door. WHAT do you think? I love it. I like the way the two white parts come out on the side of the door. Posted by Picasa

Fourth Street Live

In downtown Louisville there is a place with a lot of bars, called FOURTH STREET LIVE. As you can see from the picture, they are getting ready for new years party. You can see all the ballons ready to drop at midnight. Robert and I ate dinner at a wonderful little British Pub called, THE PUB. We are in Louisville, they could'nt come up with a better name, like The slaughtered Lamb or The George and Dragon. So what the hell, just call it THE PUBPosted by Picasa

The Work has started on the outside of our house

Now those of you that saw our house in Tacoma, can remember the wonderful deck we had in the back yard! Well I just had to have the same thing here. However, this one is twice as big as the one in Tacoma. This one will have celling fans and wonderful pillars holding this one up. I will take more picture as work progresses. Posted by Picasa

Good Neighbor passed away

Many of you may have heard the story about a neighbor of mine in Tacoma that lived across the street from Robert and I. The story goes, one day, about 8 years ago I was out side cutting my yard. I had just finished the front and was all done with the back yard, when I saw THE CREATURE. It was just laying on the side of my house. It looked like a big fat, wet, RAT... But it was a possum. I started yelling for HELP. Art the neighbor from across the street came over to see what I was yelling about. Then he saw IT. He said "Don't move, that there is a POSSUM, they like to play dead, it may attack." So there I was, with rake in hand, ready to fight off the CREATURE. Art ran back to his house, when he came back, he had on this huge glove. You know like you see on the Discovery Channel, when they handle big birds. Well any way, Art goes real slow, then he reaches for the possum, just as he is about to touch it, he screams out REAL LOUD, RUN....BOY... did I every, I took off down the street just screaming. I threw the rake at Art and just ran.
The possum was in deed DEAD. Art was just messing with me. That's my memory of Art, he loved to kid around.
On Dec 17th, Art passed away, his obituary was in the Tacoma News Tribune.
